INDIAN KNOWLEDGE SYSTEM
The Centre for Indian Knowledge System of Handique Girls" College conducted three certificate courses during 2024-25 and 2025-26 Session.
The first course organised from 2nd April to 28th April,2025 with 241 students in online mode.
Second course organised from 22nd August 2025 to 10th September 2025 in online mode 256 students participate in online Classes
Third course organised from 22nd October to 6th November 2025 on Indian Knowledge systems Intellectual property rights 163 students participated in this course.
Learning Outcomes
After completing this course, the students will be able to Gain knowledge and understanding of Indian Knowledge System
Develop insights and understanding of the vast treasure of Indian heritage
Classify the key concepts of IKS and discuss the multifaceted nature of knowledge content both in oral and written traditions.
Develop insights on indigenous practices of north-eastern India
Apply the indigenous knowledge system to current social realities
Recognize the relevance of ancient political text in public administration and effective governance
