Undergraduate research has emerged as a vital and dynamic component of higher education, both in India and globally. The National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 underscores the importance of research and innovation, making student research engagement central to institutional academic advancement. In alignment with this vision, the Teacher-Led Student Project (TLSP) at Handique Girls" College aims to strengthen the research culture by supporting original, faculty-guided research initiatives involving undergraduate students. This initiative offers modest financial assistance (? 25000.00) for one year to faculty members to execute small-scale, impactful research projects with a core group of undergraduate students. This initiative is part of the college´s broader commitment to fostering academic inquiry, critical thinking, and research-oriented learning at the undergraduate level.
