The management of the college rests with Governing body, which is appointed in accordance with the guidelines provided by the Department of Higher Education, Government of Assam and approved by the Directorate of Higher Education, Government of Assam. The Principal is the academic and administrative head of the Institution and also the Secretary of the Governing body. Principal is assisted by Vice-Principal. The Heads of the teaching departments are responsible for the day-to-day administration of the Departments and report directly to the Principal. Additionally, the college has a number of committees, formed with the approval of the Governing body, which play an important role in various institutional functions.
The Management encourages the participation of the staff in the process of decision-making in institutional functioning. Both teaching and non-teaching staff have their representatives in the College"s Governing body, which is the highest decision-making body. The participatory role of the staff in the management encourages and sustains their involvement, which is necessary for the efficient and effective running of the college.
College´s Governing body is the highest decision-making body. The Governing body is constituted in accordance with the guidelines provided by the Department of Higher Education, Government of Assam and approved by the Directorate of Higher Education, Government of Assam. The Governing body is a 12 (twelve) member body that include a President, a Secretary and 10 (ten) members.
