  1. Designing nanomaterials and nanocomposites.
  2. Fabrication of separation barriers (membranes) for biomolecule separation and environmental remediation.
  3. Extraction of bioactive compounds from plant species (hydrotropes and enzyme assited) and stability study through encapsulation processes.
  4. Proficiency in polymer science and membrane-based technology for molecular separation and purification.

PRE Ph.D EXPERIENCES:
  1. B.Sc. project work titled “Synthesis of Alkenes via McMurry Coupling and Related Reactions” at CSIR-NEIST, Jorhat in the field of synthesis of organic molecules, column chromatographic techniques.
  2. M.Sc. project work titled “Separation and Purification of Malic Acid from Natural Feed-Stocks” at CSIR-NEIST, Jorhat, in the field of extraction of bioactive compounds, designing and developing methodologies for separation of bio-molecules, their characterization using different analytical techniques and applications.
  3. M.Sc. project work titled “Synthesis of a novel ZnO/NiMoO4 nanocomposite and its applications as photocatalyst and antibacterial agent.” at NIT Silchar in the field of synthesis of nano-particles, nanocomposites, and developing methodologies, their characterization, and applications.
