1.     Curriculum Transaction

  • Teaching Methods: Lecture, Demonstration, Questioning, Project, Heuristic
  • Teaching Aids: Printed Material, Black Board, Charts, Projector
  • Class Records: Maintained through student register.
  •  Remedial Teaching: Remedial teaching is done in every semester whenever the students ask. 
  •  Class Seminars: Class seminar is arranged for once in every semester.
  • Text to Performance: The students are encouraged to perform what they have learnt.
  • (The students of the department performed a drama on need for women education on the occasion of World Literacy Day on 8th September 2023.)
  • Peer Learning: For peer learning, group discussion and group presentation is arranged.
  •   E learning Modules: The students are provided E-learning material through the formal whatsapp groups and google classroom. Though the department do not have self-developed e learning modules, the students are provided with those  e-learning material which are open access.
  •    Project Works: The CBCS sixth semester students conduct research projects as a part of the syllabus. The FYUGP first semester students of the skill enhancement paper Mental Health and Hygiene also conduct a project as a part of practical.
  • Internal Assessments: Internal assessment is done on the basis of the student’s participation in class seminar, timely submission of assignments and regularity in class.
  •  Student Support: For providing student support, the department does mentoring of the students.
  •  Parents’ Meet: Parents meet is organized periodically.
  • Feedback from Students: Feedback from the students of the previous academic session was found to be satisfactory.
